Is Spoonze a meal kit?

No. We provide delicious, home style meals, prepared here in Chicago and delivered fresh for you to warm and savor. We get exhausted thinking about all of the people trying meal kits, with endless chopping, slicing and dicing, dirtying seemingly every pan in their kitchen. (Hey, if that’s your thing, we’re not judging.) With Spoonze, there’s no prep, no mess, no cleanup and zero delivery charges or tipping. Spoonze is “simply” delicious.

How does your meal plan work?

Simply pick a plan (3 meals or 5 meals in a week) once a week, select menu items for your upcoming week and tada! Meals are prepared to order from fresh, thoughtfully sourced ingredients. Your meals will be delivered once or twice during the week ---- depending on your plan.

How do I warm my meals?

Simply microwave our chilled meals on 'High' in 90 second intervals, stirring if necessary, until desired warmth is achieved. Since they’re not frozen they’ll warm quickly.

Are your containers recyclable?

Yes! The containers we use are 100% recyclable. And the Reusable Bag we provided you is for use with our bag swap program. You may also reuse it for other cool things. Save the Earth!

Can you accommodate food allergies and special requests?

Yes. You’ll find a “Food Allergies and Intolerances” form during the ordering process. We’ll either substitute for the ingredients in a selected meal or, if necessary, substitute a different meal in place of modifying its ingredients.

Who delivers the meals? What does delivery cost?

We have our own delivery team, and delivery is FREE! Tipping is not expected or accepted. I know — we’re cool.

Do I have to be home for my delivery?

Nope! On the scheduled window of delivery (confirmed in the order process) you will get a notification when your meals have been delivered. We recommend moving them into a refrigerator within 1-2 hours.

Will I be notified when my meals have been delivered?

Always. We will send you a text notification when your meals are on the way and have been delivered.

Your service sounds awesome. But do I have to commit to it every week? Can I pause it?

Of course not. The only commitment you’re making is to eat well! You can pause, change or cancel your Spoonze plan at any time easily through the portal, and resume it at any time. We want you to be living a great life, even if it means pausing our service while you’re away adventuring.

Can I cancel my membership?

You’d hurt our feelings. But yes, you may cancel your membership at any time at no cost to you. But we hope you don’t. If you have feedback at any time that would make our service better, please let us know. Our goal is to not just satisfy you, but to wow you.
